The present Kyoshu-Sama, Ioichi Okada, is the fourth spiritual leader of IMM, who succeeded the third spiritual leader, Itsuki Okada.
Meishu-Sama´s succession began after his ascension, when his wife, Yoshi Okada (1897-1962), became the second spiritual leader of IMM – Nidai-Sama. Following that, Itsuki Okada, Meishu-Sama´s daughter, also known as Kyoshu-Sama, became the third spiritual leader.
Kyoshu, or whoever occupies Kyoshu´s throne, called Kyoshu-Sama, besides being the supreme guide, has the mission of being the link between Meishu-Sama, who is in the Divine World, and the messianic members who are in the Material World.
